Oregon Imaging Centers is committed to ensuring that we adhere to all federal, state and locally mandated patient privacy, coding and billing requirements.  Every employee receives extensive training to ensure we meet the highest ethical standards and legal requirements that govern medical imaging.

The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has provided the guidance, which forms the foundation of our Organizational Integrity Plan.  It includes:

• A written standard of conduct and written policies and procedures
  
• A Director of the Organizational Integrity Program, who regularly reports to our board of directors
• An internal committee responsibile for the stewardship of organizational integrity efforts
  
• Regular and effective education and training programs for all employees
  
• Effective lines of communication between staff and physicians
  
• Audits and other risk-evaluation techniques to monitor organizational integrity and reduce problems
• Disciplinary mechanisms to enforce standards and policies for sanctioned individuals
  
• Policies to respond to offenses and to initiate corrective action to prevent similar transgressions.
