As Director of Women's Imaging, Dr. Cathryn Chicola's interest and extensive experience in women's imaging benefits every woman who walks through our doors. Dr. Chicola leads a team of breast-imaging experts and was instrumental in the creation of the breast center, knowing it would save lives - one woman at a time. "Taking care of my patients is a profound responsibility that I truly am honored to hold," she says. "As women, we have a responsibility to take care of each other."

A softer, gentler exam...

As the only certified Pink Ribbon Facility in the Willamette Valley, we are committed to making your next mammogram a gentle one. As a courtesy to patients, we offer MammoPads. These soft and warm, single-use foam cushions are placed between you and the mammography machine to decrease discomfort.

Results, fast...

For your peace of mind, Oregon Imaging Breast & MRI Center offers 100 percent full-field digital mammography. Safe and highly accurate, this state-of-the-art technology uses the same technique as traditional mammography, but the image is stored on a computer instead of film. For the patient, this means a lower dose of radiation, shorter exam times and faster results.

Screening mammogram results are made available to your physician within one business day. Patients normally receive their results within two to three business days. And we provide diagnostic mammogram results before you leave our office.
