Why support Komen Oregon?

As the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, Komen is working to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find cures.

Together, Komen and Oregon Imaging Centers:

  • Provides no-cost mammograms for local women. In partnership with the State of Oregon, Komen has helped provide more than 2,600 mammograms in the past five years to uninsured and low income women in Lane County – but thousands more remain uninsured and in need of screenings. We can and must do more.
  • Co-fund the Patient Navigator Program at Oregon Imaging Centers, which helps women chart an actionable course of treatment when diagnosed with breast cancer.
  • Work together to educate women in our community about early detection by taking part in community events, like Affair of the Heart, Shades of Pink, relay For Life and Race for the Cure.

Where does the money go?

Approximately 75 percent of all that is raised in Oregon stays right here, funding local programs that help women in our communities; 25 percent goes directly to research worldwide. We hope you will join us in supporting this trusted organization as it continues to save lives in our community and around the world.

As a gold sponsor of the Race, this is the second year in a row Oregon Imaging Centers’ has participated in the Race. Join us!
