A. We have two facilities: one in Eugene at the University District site, and one on the RiverBend campus. Get details here.

A. Some plans require prior authorization before they will pay for your imaging study. You are responsible for checking with your insurance provider to determine if this step is necessary prior to arriving for your appointment. Your insurance company can also tell you what procedures and imaging studies are covered by your plan and which are not. You are responsible for paying for any services not covered by your insurance provider.

A. On the day of your appointment, please bring a current insurance card with ID number and a group number. If we are seeing you as part of a worker’s compensation claim or auto injury, please have your claim number available and the name and address of your attorney. Oregon Imaging Centers will make our best effort to bill your insurance company, however, you as the patient are liable for services not covered by your insurance plan.

A. Yes, if the secondary insurance information is provided to us at the time of service.

A. Oregon Imaging Centers provides the images and interpretation to your physician(s). We can provide them to you or send an additional copy to another physician or other party upon request. A. Oregon Imaging Centers medical record retention policy complies with Federal Regulations governing medical records that are stored in our PACs (Picture Archival Computer System). Retention varies depending on your age and the type of study performed. In general, we retain adult medical records for seven years after the date of service. Mammography studies are retained for ten years after the last date of service. Medical records of patients under the age of eighteen are retained for a minimum of seven years, or one year past the age of eighteen.

A. Yes, Oregon Imaging Centers can see children of any age. Some imaging studies may be more appropriate if your child is sedated or anesthesia is administered. Your physician can help you determine what is best for your child.

A. Oregon Imaging Centers is committed to ensuring that every member of our community receives the medical imaging services they need, regardless of ability to pay. Medically necessary imaging services will never be delayed or denied based on your ability to pay. If you believe you may have difficulty paying for imaging services you require, we offer several programs that you may be qualified for, these include:

  • Bridge Assistance program through PeaceHealth. For more information call 541.686.7191
  • Payment plans are available for self-pay customers

A. Yes, we can quote you our non-contracted rate. If you have insurance, this may not be the amount of money your insurance company pays us for service. We regret that we are unable to quote our contracted prices. Please contact your insurance company for more information about their reimbursement rates.

A. If you have insurance, Oregon Imaging Centers will attempt to bill your insurance company. If your claim is denied, you will receive a bill for the imaging services that were provided to you. We accept Visa, MasterCard and personal checks.

A. This is a very important question and varies depending on the type of imaging study your physician has ordered. If you have questions about preparing for your imaging study, please call our scheduling department at 541.334.7555. We have also put many preparation protocols for specific imaging studies online. You may review this information by browsing the Services section of our website. Be sure to review the scan specific to your case. Failure to follow the recommended preparation instructions may result in your imaging study being canceled and rescheduled.

A. Some imaging studies require a driver for your safety. In some instances we will be unable to perform your imaging study if a driver does not accompany you to your appointment and wait for you during your imaging study. This is for your safety and generally relates to whether sedation was used. Please make the necessary arrangements or let us know in advance so we can make arrangements for you. If you are unsure if you will need a driver, please view the information specific to your service, or call our scheduling department at 541.334.7555.

A. Of course. Contact a representative in our business development department, who can arrange a tour at a time most convenient for you.

A. Most imaging studies require a referral from a physician. If your physician has provided you with a referral, you or your physician may fax your referral to 541.334.7564. Please note that all faxed referrals must be signed by the referring physician.

Screening mammograms do not require a referral. Simply call 541.334.7555 or submit a request here.

If your physician prefers to call and submit a verbal order or referral to our scheduling department, they may call 541.334.7555. Once we have received the referral, we can schedule your appointment. To schedule an appointment time, call 541.334.7555
